Twelve of the country's best amateur bakers test their skills. In the first round, the bakers tackle an upside-down cake for their signature bake, before the demanding technical challenge has them trying out Paul Hollywood's recipe for rum babas. Finally, the cooks attempt to produce a showstopping cake with a hidden design detail, but who will impress the judges and who will be the first to leave?
